How It Works

Your location, under your control

Change where your phone says you are, manage the hidden data in your photos and build your own routes — all from one clean map interface.

Five steps from install to full control

1

Download & open the app

Get Fake GPS & Location Changer free from the App Store and open it on your iPhone. No account or sign-up needed to start.

2

Pick a point on the map

Search any place in the world or tap directly on the map to set your GPS coordinates. Drop a pin, save it to a custom category and reuse it anytime.

3

View & edit photo EXIF data

Open any photo to inspect its hidden EXIF metadata — GPS coordinates, camera model, date and exposure settings — then edit or remove what you don't want to share.

4

Create tracks & photo routes

Build a custom route, link your photos to specific points along it, and review the distance, elevation and time of the whole track at a glance.

5

Stay private

Hide your real GPS data, keep private locations in secure storage and decide exactly what geodata leaves your device before you share a photo or place.

📍

Want to change your GPS system-wide?

For location spoofing to work across all apps on your iPhone, you need to pair the app with Xcode on a Mac. The full step-by-step guide covers setup in about 20 minutes.

What's going on under the hood

📍

GPS coordinates

Every place on Earth has a pair of numbers — latitude and longitude. The app lets you set those coordinates to any point you choose, so your location reflects the spot on the map instead of your physical position.

📷

EXIF metadata

Photos quietly store extra data inside the file — when and where they were taken, and on which device. This is called EXIF. The app reads it, shows it clearly, and lets you edit or strip it out.

🔒

Your privacy

Once GPS data is removed from a photo or a location is hidden, that information no longer travels with it. You stay in control of what others — and the apps you use — can see.
